Collaborative research (applied/translational) on the microanatomical (histomorphological) and biochemical alterations on multi-organ systems in vivo models following therapeutic doses of common medications in morbidities/co-morbidities (toxicological profiling).
Teaching efforts are directed to the relevant areas of the human anatomy curriculum for the undergraduate and postgraduate students including; anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, physiotherapy, optometry, pharmacy, nursing and radiology using pedagogical approaches of course outline presentations, focus discussion groups (peer learning), point presentations, active learning, e-learning, problem based learning, self/peer-graded assignments, tests, practical and examinations.
Community volunteer service is on early childhood education and youth mentorship on mental health challenges associated with substance abuse.
